Job Title: Specialist Veneer Operative
Location: Epworth DN9
Hourly rate: 13.50 Per Hour
Hours Available: 8-4.30 Monday to Thursday 3.30 finish on Friday
Contract: Temp

The specialist veneer operative will help to coordinate the department, maximising throughout, whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality, health and safety, working closely with team members and company management. To work as part of the Flush doors team to continuously improve all operations, competence, processes, and procedures. To work closely with other departments to ensure effective and constructive communication. Continuous Improvement is essential to minimise delays and Increase efficiency.

Duties Include:
* Ability to identify species and cuts of veneer, inspecting and reporting any problems with product.
* Able to read technical drawings, understanding how to match and stitch as per requirements.
* Operate veneer guillotines, stitches and presses.
* Increase efficiency of department.
* Corrective/Preventive action - work with all departments to report and prevent wasted/down time.
* Ensure maintenance is carried out correctly and on time.
* Ensure Health and Safety practices are observed.
* Any other reasonable duties that might be needed from time to time to assist the company in attaining its business objectives.

Essential Criteria:
* Prior experience working with veneer, timber, technical drawings and related machinery.
* Excellent eye for detail and quality.
* Willingness to build a career with a strong team and work ethic.
