A vibrant school in the Chesterfield area is looking for a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Position: Primary School Teacher

Location: Chesterfield

Hours:8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Salary: £140 - £180 per day, based on experience

Qualifications: Must hold QTS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the current curriculum.- Monitor and assess pupils' development against individual targets.- Manage and professionally report on classroom behaviours or incidents.- Adapt teaching methods to maximise each pupil's learning potential.- Mark and assess classwork and homework assignments.- Maintain professional communication with staff members and parents.

Requirements:

  • Experience teaching upper or lower KS2 pupils.

  • Strong communication skills with staff and parents.

  • Ability to liaise with the safeguarding team in a professional manner.

  • A genuine passion for motivating and developing pupils' learning.

  • Full-time availability during term time.

  • Competency in marking pupils' work and setting relevant targets.

**Eligibility Criteria:**

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years.
