Position: Full-Time Year 4 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)Location: Small primary school in a North Chesterfield suburbContract Type: Fixed Term, Full Time (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)Duration: Until at least July 2025, with the potential to extend until December 2025Qualifications Required: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience: Lower Key Stage 2 teaching experience preferred
Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 class teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a warm and well-established team of staff at our small, community-oriented primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning within the Year 4 class.
Key Requirements:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Lower Key Stage 2 is essential
- Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
