Geotechnical Project Manager
Chesterfield (Hybrid Working Available)
£55,000 - £70,000 + Vehicle/Allowance + Healthcare + Holiday + Pension

Are you an experienced Geotechnical/Geo environmental engineer looking to take their next step at an exciting company who is growing within the industry?

This company focuses within the construction and civil engineering sector providing solutions to challenging projects across the market. They have seen healthy growth since being established and are looking to continue making inroads within the industry. This company is part of a well backed group and are looking for motivated candidates who want to invest themselves long term into the business.

In this role you will be doing detailed design of stope stabilisation solutions (soil nailing and rock bolting). The occasional inspection of rock faces, slopes and retaining walls. There will be elements of using ropes alongside an experienced rope access supervisor however you will get the chance to get trained by the company on this if you are not already. There will be visits to current sites to ensure everything is running smoothly and problem solving. Leading a team of Geotechnical and ensuring they are supported in their development.

The ideal candidates will have vast experience in a similar role as well as a related bachelors degree. Practical experience of detailed slope stabilisation designs and experience with such packages: Slope/W, Oasys Slope etc. The ability the write reports capably will also be necessary for you to be successful here as well as a clean driving license for some travel that will be required.
