This Purchasing Team needs help!!
If you are a Purchasing Assistant who can quickly become part of a team and help restore order and balance we need you NOW!
There is a bit of a backlog so they need help for at least 2 months it will be a direct contract with the option to extend. And, I promise you will be welcomed with open arms!
My client is an international company in the engineering sector pipes and valves and this is the HQ of their UK business.
So how will you be supporting the team?
You will be working on business critical documents so accuracy and attention to detail will be paramount. You will be referring to controlled documents to ensure these are updated correctly to provide a reliable system for sales, customer services and supply chain to trust and use.
You will:
Chase, update, and close overdue purchase orders
This will clean up the Manufacturing Resource Plannng with erroneous deliveries of stock that will not be coming in or amend delivery dates as required
Update and maintain supplier Trade Agreements
Confirm current prices
Update price validity dates
Confirm lead times
Confirm Minimum Order Quantities and batch quantities
Ensure documentation is correct and in place
Check order acknowledgements are received and checked
Purchase orders to be updated accordingly
Its Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm and the salary is £25-28K pro-rata.
As there are other Group companies in the Chesterfield area there is the possibility of a suitable permanent job within the Group becoming available and if you do a great role they will want to keep you!
