A chartered consultancy in Chesterfield are looking for an Assistant or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team
They operate on the consultancy and contractor side. You will be operating on the contractor side.

The role

This company undertake government refurbishment works in the main: Facilities management, social housing refurbishment, MOD, prisons, commercial offices.

On joining, you will be working as part of a team, on government office refurbishment works / security upgrades. Work is government funded / high volume, and you will be working across numerous schemes simultaneously

You will be involved in the full tendering package, placing orders, subcontractor payments etc.

You will be based from their office in Chesterfield with site visits as required.

The right person – Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor

You will be working towards a construction qualification or will have a construction qualification
You will have experience working on refurbishment schemes (housing or contracting)

You will have 2 years or more experience as a Quantity Surveyor

You will have a good work ethic and an desire to learn and progress.

Working hours 8-5 Monday to Thursday and 8-4.30 Friday
