Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor thinking about a fresh new start working for a leading Regional Main Contractor

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join my clients growing team based in Chesterfield with Hybrid working available. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within a specialist team, supporting them in various projects and areas. You will be involved with projects including new build, refurbishments, fit-outs, major extensions, and design and build across an array of sectors. Values typically range anywhere from 2m - 20m.

Duties of a Quantity Surveyor:

Your day to day will include:

  • Regular financial reporting; processing and administration of applications for payment upstream and downstream and managing relationships with the Client and the appointed professional team.

  • Collaborative working with all external and internal stakeholders will be crucial, including mentoring/managing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the growth of the hub

  • Working on a portfolio of projects predominately involving the refurbishment of buildings across the Blue Light, Health, Education, Retail and commercial sectors, with a focus on works that are safety critical and involve significant fire and general safety risk

Requirements for a Quantity Surveyor

This role of a Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • Demonstrate general construction knowledge
  • Have Experience of delivering projects under NEC and JCT Forms of Contract
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
