About the Role:Zachary Daniels are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Head of Property with a prominent retailer renowned for its innovation and commitment to customer satisfaction. This strategic position will oversee the company's property portfolio, guiding acquisitions, disposals, and lease negotiations to support the organisation's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive property strategy aligned with the retailer's business objectives.
  • Lead the acquisition and disposal of retail properties, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
  • Manage lease negotiations and renewals to secure optimal agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate store openings, relocations, and closures.
  • Analyse market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Oversee property management activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, agents, and local authorities.
  • Manage and develop an established team of property professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Prepare and present property performance and strategy reports to the executive board, confidently challenging and influencing decisions when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in property management, real estate, or a related field, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong understanding of property law, lease agreements, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and market trends for strategic decision-making.
