My client is a company who were founded nearly 30 years ago and have become an established distributor of quality pressure control equipment to various industries including the oil and gas industries. Due to the quality service, they provide they have grown to become a distributor to some of the worlds leading manufacturers and are now looking for a Business Development Manager to work in the North to develop a healthy account base whilst find new business in a Hunter and Farmer type role.

Business Development Manager
Patch Covering Birmingham to Newcastle.Package: Basic £40,000 - £45,000, bonus, car allowance, 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, 8% pension scheme, phone, laptop and healthcare.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Develop and build relationships with clients both new and existing.

Provide technical support to clients enquiries.

Complete the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to dispatch.

Follow up on sales leads.

Grow the existing account base of £1.4million.

Produce and manage client quotations.

Offer exceptional customer service.

Work with a small close knit team to gain the best possible results

Strong organisational skills.

Flexible approach of day-to-day requirements.

Able to work on your own initiative and provide support in team projects.

An understanding of Pneumatics, Valves, filtration, gauges, manifolds.

Focused and driven to be successful.

An ability to work closely with clients and colleagues of various levels.

Good communications skills both verbally and written.
