W Talent is now supporting a leading player in the Industrial & Energy Sales sector is seeking to hire a new Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, focusing on driving business growth and enhancing market share through innovative technical solutions.

This Chesterfield-based role is a Monday to Friday, salaried position where you will be instrumental in promoting and selling branded products while working closely with distributors and key stakeholders to achieve sales targets set by the Sales Director.

Position Overview

The organisation operates within the industrial and manufacturing sectors, offering a range of products that include proprietary stainless steel clamping systems. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding the distributor network and building strong relationships with end-users, ensuring customer satisfaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to drive business growth by leveraging technical solutions to meet customer needs.

You will be expected to:

  • Grow relationships with distributor accounts and end-users to increase sales and market share.
  • Identify and create opportunities to showcase capabilities to decision-makers in various sectors.
  • Recognise and address technical issues faced by customers using the provided solutions.
  • Work closely with the distributor network to maximise sales opportunities and develop new channels.
  • Manage daily interactions with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels and effective communication.
  • Achieve assigned sales and profit targets for designated markets.
  • Submit detailed reports to the Sales Director, managing a growing sales funnel and providing market intelligence.

Key Requirements
