Are you a Sales or Business Development Manager, with experience of tender management and a background in Civil Engineering, Construction, Construction Materials or Hard FM seeking a truly pivotal role for a market leading, specialist organisation which provides innovative structural and construction services across the UK, where you will be in a newly created role which has arisen due to rapid growth?

Are you seeking a versatile and flexible role with great progression potential to board member level, where you will add direct value, tendering for a range of exciting new projects in the Structures division, for a forward-thinking company which operate at the forefront of their industry, with far-reaching capabilities, where you will also form part of a wider globally leading group?

The company operate within Geotechnical, Structural, Construction and Renewables, and are currently embarking on a rapid upwards trajectory. You will work closely with one of the Managing Directors, to work ongoing on strategy for a new business within the Structures arm of the business.

You will be responsible for developing and tendering for new work within their Structures division. You will assist with the coordination of business development, sales and marketing, as well as supporting the development and implementation of business development strategy.

The role:

  • Develop and implement sales and business development strategy
  • Tender for new work within construction and civil engineering
  • Assist with the Estimating process (pricing, bidding and quoting work)
  • Support the directorship team in forming future business development plans
  • Maximise new business opportunities, whilst minimising commercial risk

The person:

  • Sales / Business Development experience within Construction, Civil Engineering or Hard FM
  • Experience with the tender process / tender management
