Job Title: Sales Ledger Clerk

Location: Chesterfield, UK

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Ledger Clerk to join our clients finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Monitor and chase outstanding debts to ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients regarding their accounts.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
