Maths Teacher

Location: Chesterfield, S41
Accessible from: Sheffield, Dronfield, Mansfield, Worksop, Alfreton
Salary: MPS / UPS (Paid to scale)
Contract Type: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week

Long Term Futures is looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Chesterfield (S41), working with KS3 and KS4 students who have faced challenges in mainstream education.

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons at GCSE and Functional Skills level
  • Teach small class sizes (around 10 students per class)
  • Adapt lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Maintain positive relationships and encourage students to re-engage with education
  • Work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team to support student progress

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
  • A resilient and adaptable approach with a passion for supporting disengaged learners
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A full UK driving licence with business insurance (essential)
