Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Chesterfield (S41)
Pay Rate: £140 - £220 per day
GSL Education is looking for a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher to join a school in Chesterfield. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator with a passion for mathematics to inspire students, foster their love for the subject, and help them achieve their full potential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and ensure effective learning.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in reaching their academic goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance student outcomes and engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment techniques.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Passionate, dedicated, and driven to inspire students in their Maths education.
