Job Title: Maths Teacher

Salary: £150 - £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 - 16:30)

GSL Education are excited to offer an opportunity for a full-time Maths Teacher at a leading SEN school in Chesterfield, starting immediately. This position offers a dynamic and supportive environment for educators to make a meaningful impact on students' mathematical development.
About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher at this SEN school, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging maths lessons to students with a variety of learning needs. The role will involve using a creative approach to teach essential mathematical concepts, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Responsibilities of the Maths Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality maths lessons to students with SEN, adapting resources to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and encouraged.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and setting achievable targets.
- Work closely with SENCOs and support staff to implement tailored learning strategies.
- Provide detailed lesson plans, marking, and reports as required.
- Use a range of assessment methods and resources to support student learning.
Requirements of the Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring Mathematics, preferably within a secondary school setting.
- A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and a passion for teaching, with a commitment to fostering academic excellence.
- A valid UK driving licence and the ability to drive to the school location.
- Passion for Mathematics and a commitment to delivering outstanding education.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
