Teacher of Design Technology - Immediate Start

Location: Chesterfield

Contract: Part Time 2 days a week, until the end of the academic year

An academy in Chesterfield is seeking a dedicated and skilled Design Technology teacher to join their team immediately. This is a Part Time role that will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential for longer-term opportunities for the right candidate.

The Role:

Deliver high-quality lessons across DT, Food Technology, Construction, and Engineering

Engage and inspire students of all abilities, fostering a passion for practical learning

Plan and deliver creative, hands-on lessons in well-equipped workshops and classrooms

Support students in developing technical skills and confidence in their abilities

Work within a supportive team dedicated to raising attainment and aspirations

Who We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) or an experienced instructor with relevant industry experience

Experience teaching Design Technology, Food Technology, Construction, or Engineering

Someone with strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
