Religious Education and PSHE Teacher - North Chesterfield
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Religious Education (RE) and PSHE Teacher to join our dynamic team at a well-regarded secondary school located in North Chesterfield, near the Sheffield border. This is a long-term position, starting in January 2025 (or ASAP), teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
Key Details- Start Date: January 2025 (or ASAP)
- Contract: Long-term - July 2025
- Subjects: Religious Education (RE) and PSHE
- Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and inspiring lessons in RE and PSHE, catering to a diverse range of abilities and backgrounds.
- Support students' personal and academic development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and the delivery of high-quality education.
- Monitor student progress, providing feedback and intervention strategies where necessary.
- Previous experience teaching Religious Education, PSHE, or both at KS3 and/or KS4 levels.
- Ideally, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant FE equivalent.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for supporting students' personal and spiritual development.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
