HLTA for Interventions (KS1 & KS2)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our small and supportive primary school in Chesterfield. The role is full-time and involves working with KS1 and KS2 students, delivering targeted Phonics, English, and Maths interventions to help our pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering interventions in Phonics, English, and Maths to small groups or individual students.
  • Occasionally covering for teachers during PPA time (no planning required).
  • Supporting students' learning across Key Stages 1 and 2.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with KS1 and KS2 students.
  • Confidence in delivering Phonics and Maths interventions.
  • Ability to cover classes during PPA time (on occasion).
  • All candidates will be subject to thorough vetting checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
