Location: Chesterfield, S40
Commutable from: Sheffield, Worksop, Mansfield, Rotherham
Pay Rate: 90 - 110 per day
Contract: Long-term with potential for a permanent position
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date: Immediate
Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of secondary school students? A thriving secondary school in Chesterfield (S40) is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support their students in achieving academic and personal success.
Your Role Will Include:
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and classroom activities.
- Providing tailored support to students in one-on-one and small-group settings.
- Encouraging a positive learning atmosphere to enhance student engagement.
- Supporting students in building confidence and developing key academic skills.
Who We're Looking For:
- A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English & Maths preferred).
- Experience in a classroom, mentoring, or youth work setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
