An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated OTC retail manager to join a progressive healthcare industry he successful candidate will be based in our Head Office in Chesterfield, 3-4 days per week and the remainder of the week visiting branches, to ensure implementation of OTC business plans are in place.

Description
- Be accountable for the commercial delivery of retail across the key KPI's; Sales, Margin and Funding. Ultimately delivery the forecasted profit.
- Proactively manage the product, pricing and promotional mix to optimize sales and profit.
- Develop and Implement best practice Commercial, Merchandising and Operational solutions.
- Develop and implement the strategy for the retail side of the business. Lead the direction of travel.
- Manage the relationships with our supplier base, negotiate JBPs, pricing and other support.
- Engage our store colleagues and area managers on the strategy and provide regular updates on performance
- Manage and update key stakeholders internally on any challenges and provide solutions.
- Proactive in seeking out feedback from Customers and Store Colleagues on ways to continually optimise our offering.
- Conduct regular market and competitor reviews to identify future opportunities
- Manage a small team in supporting the delivery of the agreed plans.
Profile
A successful OTC Retail Manager should have:
- A degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
- Previous experience in a retail management role
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
