An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated OTC retail manager to join a progressive healthcare industry he successful candidate will be based in our Head Office in Chesterfield, 3-4 days per week and the remainder of the week visiting branches, to ensure implementation of OTC business plans are in place.

Description

  • Be accountable for the commercial delivery of retail across the key KPI's; Sales, Margin and Funding. Ultimately delivery the forecasted profit.
  • Proactively manage the product, pricing and promotional mix to optimize sales and profit.
  • Develop and Implement best practice Commercial, Merchandising and Operational solutions.
  • Develop and implement the strategy for the retail side of the business. Lead the direction of travel.
  • Manage the relationships with our supplier base, negotiate JBPs, pricing and other support.
  • Engage our store colleagues and area managers on the strategy and provide regular updates on performance
  • Manage and update key stakeholders internally on any challenges and provide solutions.
  • Proactive in seeking out feedback from Customers and Store Colleagues on ways to continually optimise our offering.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor reviews to identify future opportunities
  • Manage a small team in supporting the delivery of the agreed plans.

Profile

A successful OTC Retail Manager should have:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
  • Previous experience in a retail management role
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
