Tradewind Recruitment are seeking confident, reliable individuals to join our team of Classroom Cover staff ('Cover Supervisors') across various secondary schools in Chesterfield. You don't need any formal teaching experience - just the ability to engage young people, to stay calm under pressure, and supervise a room of secondary-aged students.

What You'll Do:

  • Step into classrooms when teachers are away (work is already set for you)
  • Keep students focused, engaged, and on task
  • Manage behaviour - following the school's behaviour policy
  • Support students in their learning and maintain a calm, respectful environment

This Role Is Ideal If You:

  • Have experience working with young people (sports coach, youth worker, camp leader, mentor, etc.)
  • Are confident leading a group and handling challenging behaviour
  • Want flexible work that fits your schedule
  • Are thinking about a future in teaching or education
  • The Role Is Even better If you:
  • Have a UK driving licence, and car
  • Are degree qualified
