Job Title: Midday Learning Support Assistant
Location: Hasland
Pay Rate: £85 - £100 per day
Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? Are you looking for a rewarding role within a school setting? GSL Education is seeking a Midday Learning Support Assistant to provide essential support to students in Hasland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs throughout the school day, including during lessons and lunchtime.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and social interaction as needed.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure students' individual needs are met.
- Encourage independence and engagement in learning activities.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to support students with personal care and mobility when required.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
