Hamilton Woods Associates are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who are recruiting for a Senior Mental Health Support Worker in Chesterfield. The service provides out of hours support to those in mental health crisis.

Flexibility is required for this role. The typical shift pattern is 4pm - 1am, Monday - Sunday

Responsibilities of the Senior Mental Health Support Worker includes:

  • Supporting those in mental health crisis during out of hours
  • Managing and completing pre-booked referrals
  • Providing emotional and practical support to those in crisis
  • Signposting clients to other services
  • Liaising with external agencies
  • Providing supervision to staff
  • Ensuring compliance is maintained, through data reporting, auditing of files and completion of case studies
  • Attending networking events and promoting the service throughout the community

Requirements of the Senior Mental Support Worker:

  • Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility on working hours
