Senior Support Worker
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours a week across a 7 day rota with shift times being 4pm-1am
Salary: £26,149.50 (rising to £27,690.00 from April 2025) plus enhanced and uplifts rates of pay for evenings and weekends.

About the Role:

As a Senior Support Worker based within the safe haven you will deputise for the Service Manager and also provide front line support for those struggling with their mental health,

Key Responsibilities:

Holistic Support & Empowerment Work with individuals to improve their quality of life, develop skills, and make positive decisions, promoting recovery and independence.

Planning & Risk Management Complete accurate documentation, create individualised support and safety plans, and review them in line with policies.

Safeguarding & Collaboration Ensure effective communication with partner agencies, adhere to safeguarding policies, and take responsibility for individuals' well-being.

Crisis Intervention & Signposting Offer harm reduction strategies, de-escalate crises, and connect individuals with relevant support services.

Person-Centred Engagement Provide non-judgemental, supportive interactions, facilitate activities, and, when necessary, transport individuals as part of their support.

Requirements:
Experience working with individuals with mental health needs.
Experience providing supervision and support a team
A full UK driving License
