LTF Recruitment are thrilled to be offering an exciting opportunity as a behaviour mentor within one of our excellent alternative provisions located in Chesterfield. You will be joining an excellent team committed to improving the education and wellbeing of all pupils. This role has potential to be a permanent role subject to a successful trial period.

Key responsibilities:* Conducting 1:1 and group sessions to support students in developing positive behaviour and social skills.* Working closely with teachers, parents, and colleagues to create a pleasant and supportive learning environment.* Being able to support the teachers. providing classroom support to children with ASD, Speech and Communication Difficulties, ADHD, and Severe Social Anxieties.* Demonstrating a nurturing and supportive nature with good behaviour management skills.

The ideal candidate will: * Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need.* Have experience of working with children with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) / or SEN.* Must be able to drive to work.* Team Teach or equivalent training is desirable.
