The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with SEN needs, including:

Challenging Behaviour
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Emotional and Social Support Needs
Your role will include:

Providing one-to-one or small group support to students.
Assisting the class teacher with tailored lesson plans and activities.
Building positive and trusting relationships with students to foster engagement and learning.
Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
Promoting a safe and inclusive environment that encourages personal development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:

A valid DBS check that is registered on the Update Service, or the willingness to obtain one.
The ability to work flexibly in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN or PRU setting (preferred but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people.
