About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team in Chesterfield. This is a full-time position starting ASAP, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.

As an SEN TA, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they can thrive in their educational journey.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Travel between sites, ensuring students receive consistent and high-quality support wherever they are.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young adults with Special Educational Needs is desirable but not essential - a caring attitude and willingness to learn are key.
  • A valid driving license and access to a car are essential as site visits are a regular part of this role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility, patience, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
