Full-Time Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 2)
Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Key Stage 2 class at a friendly, two-form entry primary school located in a South Chesterfield suburb.
Position Details:-
Role: Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 2)

Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, term time only

Contract: Fixed-term until July 2025, with the potential to continue into the next academic year. Initially offered on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become a permanent role.

Location: South Chesterfield Multi Form Primary school
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning within the classroom. Responsibilities include:

Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.

Supporting children with booster sessions and targeted interventions to help them achieve their full potential.

Providing one-to-one and small group support as needed.

Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Proven experience working in a primary school setting is essential.

While a formal TA qualification is not required, strong knowledge and experience in supporting children's learning, particularly in Key Stage 2, is necessary.
