Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting to a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager for a Public Sector client in Derbyshire on a 6-month contract.Job Purpose: Procurement and Supply Chain

  • To manage the procurement of all goods, works, and services to ensure that all expenditure is compliant with procurement legislation and delivers value for money
  • To represent the organisation's interests in all shared procurement projects with external partners and seek innovative solutions for the delivery of works, goods, and services which may include working with local and regional organisations.
  • To work with the Finance & Procurement Manager to ensure procurement and supplier management are at the core of all service development and support the strategic objectives of the organisation.

Main responsibilities: Procurement and Supply Chain

  • To manage the procurement goods
  • Work on several procurement projects
  • To ensure that suppliers and partners comply with the policies
  • To use modern and innovative systems and process for the procurement of suppliers and services
  • To undertake regular reviews of the market
  • To provide monthly reports

Desirable experience: Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

  • Public Sector experience
  • CIPS Qualified
  • 3 years of procurement experience
