Sales Coordinator

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Sales Coordinator, on behalf of our client based in Chesterfield.

This is a fantastic experience for an individual with previous Supply Chain experience or Sales administration background.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Order Processing:

Manage the sales order lifecycle, from order receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Coordinate with the sales team to confirm order details, including pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.

Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods.

Handle customer queries and follow up on order status to ensure excellent service and customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales order records, tracking order fulfilment and delivery timelines.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

Collaborate with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure sufficient stock levels for sales order fulfilment.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering of stock as needed to avoid shortages.

Work with logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods.

Identify and implement process improvements in the supply chain to optimize costs and efficiency.

Cost Control & Reporting:

Monitor and report on procurement spending to ensure adherence to budget limits.

Assist in preparing cost estimates for sales orders and procurement-related activities.

Provide regular reports on sales order fulfilment, procurement performance, and supplier efficiency.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales order management, procurement, or a related field.

Strong understanding of sales order processes, procurement procedures, and supplier management.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and negotiation skills for coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and ERP or sales order management software.

Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and handling multiple projects.

Ambition to grow into a senior role within the company over the next few years.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with inventory management and logistics coordination.

Familiarity with sales order processing systems and procurement platforms.

Relevant certifications in procurement, supply chain management, or sales order processing are a plus.
