Supply Chain Controller – Chesterfield - £35,000 - £40,000Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with an established manufacturing business based in Chesterfield who are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their team.As Supply Chain Controller, you will be a key member of the supply chain team and will be primarily responsible for end-end fulfilment of customer orders and contributing to the overall procurement efficiency.Benefits:

Buyer Duties:
- Manage procurement of indirect materials and consumables based on Material Resource Planning (MRP) signals and purchase requisitions, while supporting direct materials procurement as needed to balance team workload
- Support integrated business planning to enable proactive decision-making based on future demand forecasts.
- Align work orders, materials, and resources with MRP signals to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.
- Contribute to make-or-buy decisions and manage planning parameters and product data systems.
- Lead implementation of engineering changes and new product introductions to meet project deadlines.
- Monitor production progress against sales targets to identify risks and maintain fulfillment balance.
- Address supplier quality and rejection issues, including expediting replacements and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate on corrective actions for supplier quality failures and maintain compliance documentation.
- Ensure vendor quality records support ISO standards and remain up to date for analysis and audits.
Hours: Full time Monday – Friday 36 hours per week (flexible)Required skills & experience:
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing business
- Previous supply chain experience
- Strong negotiation experience
- Customer facing with strong written and verbal communication skills
