Our Client a local, independant Survey practise is seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Property Surveyor to join their Client. You will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice on commercial property matters, managing client relationships, and ensuring the effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals, and negotiations for a range of commercial properties.
  • Conduct property surveys to assess conditions and identify necessary improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of survey/valuation findings and recommendations using company software.
  • Assist in the upselling of property management services to clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette when interacting with tenants and clients.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, and managing office correspondence.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution of property issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports on survey results and present findings to management.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring compliance with client objectives and legal requirements.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic advice to clients regarding property investments, acquisitions, and disposals.
  • Collaborate with legal teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless property solutions.
  • Prepare detailed reports, financial appraisals, and recommendations.
  • Support business development activities, including identifying new opportunities and building strong client

Essential Skillsand Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Veco or similar property management software is advantageous.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
  • Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field (RICS accreditation preferred but not essential).
  • Proven experience in commercial property surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of property law, market trends, and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
