Our client is a fast-growing leader in the damp proofing industry, and are wanting to take on the role of Damp Surveyor / Sales Consultant. This position is ideal for someone with a drive to excel and the determination to provide first-class service while earning uncapped commission by tailoring client needs to our products and services.Damp Surveyor / Sales Consultant
  • Annual Salary: From £50,000 plus uncapped commission
  • Location: Sheffield and surrounding areas
  • Job Type: Full-time
Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct damp surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology across Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
  • Measure distances, angles, and elevations to establish correct damp treatment areas.
  • Prepare detailed survey reports and floorplans for clients.
  • Create sales leads, follow up with meetings, and prepare quotations for commercial clients.
  • Prepare and submit tenders for damp proofing jobs for large commercial clients.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards during surveying activities.
  • Maintain surveying equipment and ensure its accuracy through regular calibration.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and documentation as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in using surveying instruments with strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data collection and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various outdoor/indoor environments.
  • Computer literate with relevant knowledge for preparation of tenders, quotations, and Work Planner use.
  • Experience in Timber and Damp Waterproofing.
  • Good knowledge of the Damp Proofing Industry.
  • A Sales and development background preferably in a similar area.
  • Certified Surveyor of Timber and Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB, PCA) qualifications.
