What you'll be doing as a BI Developer at Greencore?
- Designing and developing data flows and integrations between systems and databases for the group, as well as contributing to other areas of our business landscape
- In addition to reporting, the team is responsible for several areas of data engineering and database development, including integrations development with our ERP systems, providing end-to-end solutions with web apps, and general database administration
- Designing and developing database integrations between systems and contributing to the building of Data Warehouses for reporting purposes (eg developing ETL pipelines)
- Responsible for database development in collaboration with the development team, collaborating with BAs and internal stakeholders to manage demand and a backlog of data requirements
- Leveraging best-practices to contribute to our wider goal of consolidating data sources and improving maintainability of our reporting landscape
- Working with the business you will identify reporting gaps to improve efficiencies
- Support our existing data and reporting solutions
What we're looking for?
- Good understanding and experience of relational databases (SQL Server/T-SQL), schemas and relationships across multiple data sources
- Experience of developing ETL solutions and have a good understanding of OLTP best-practices
- Proven knowledge and experience of data modelling and database design
- Experience of ERP systems, especially (PowerApps) and cloud-based solutions, especially MS Azure. Any experience of MS Synapse or data lake experience would be highly beneficial to your application
- Familiar with Power App development and Integration development, for example working with queues or APIs
