Role Overview:

A well-established family -run transport company in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Duties:

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on HGVs according to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate any additional repairs needed.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Essential:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician.
• Strong knowledge of HGV systems and maintenance practices.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential).
