We are currently recruiting for a Parts Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver for the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks depot in Chesterfield. As a Parts Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver, we can offer you:

An hourly rate of £11.44 per hour

22 days paid holiday (plus statutory) rising to 25 days with service

Who are we looking for as a Parts Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver:

You will need to have a flexible approach to work, as this is a duel role and depending on the day to day needs of the business, will determine if you are delivering parts or working in the Warehouse.

Ideally you will have previous experience working within a Stock Control / Warehouse environment, or similar role.

Must be computer literate with the ability to learn appropriate systems and software and then use them confidently and efficiently.

Accurate data input and attention to detail is crucial to the success of this role.

Experience as a Delivery Driver / Multi-drop Delivery Driver (within the Motor trade or associated sector but not essential).

Or enjoy driving and have an excellent geographical knowledge of Lincoln and the surrounding area.

Understand the importance of world class customer service.

Full UK driving licence (ideally with no penalty points).

The Parts Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Placing inbound parts into the correct locations. Identifying and picking outbound parts for distribution. Control, package and data input the return of parts to suppliers. Ensure the stores are tidy and organised, with a high standard of location accuracy. Maintain the correct labelling of all stores locations. Ensure correct orders are loaded for customer delivery. Deliver parts to customers within the geographical area on a timely basis. Ensure high levels of customer service at all times. Collect customer returns as required. Promote sales of parts.

Working Monday to Friday 8am 5pm / 9am 6pm.
