We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Technician for a press tooling manufacturer with ties to the aerospace, automotive and construction sector. They have a European footprint and are looking to add a talented team member to their growing workforce.
This Technician / Inspector role would require somebody with a proven background in Quality Control and rectification, carrying out visual inspection duties alongside use of a range of specialist measuring tools and processes. As such you would require a minimum of 12 months experience in an equivalent role.
Ideal candidate must possess the following attributes:
- Keen eye for detail
- Good track record with attendance and timekeeping
- Proven background as a shop floor QC Technician
- Familiar with at least two of the following: Shadowgraphs, Contracer, CMM, Surf-test, video measuring tools
- Ability to use basic quality tools such as verniers, callipers, micrometers.
- Good sense of humour and ability to integrate into a team
In return, the company will offer the production technician a favourable day shift of 0800am-1630pm Monday to Friday. You will also benefit from annual salary reviews, some overtime opportunities, and professional development.
Starting rate of pay: 13.50 per hour
