Senior Procurement Systems Analyst **

We have teamed up with a local authority situated in Chichester that is looking to hire a Senior Procurement Systems Analyst.

The key skill/capability required here is focused on being system lead/advisor for our eProcurement system Atamis Procurement Software from Atamis | Powering Procurement particularly with technical /system admin experience of the Tender Management and Contract Management modules.

Contract - 6 months with a view to extended into a permanent position.

Full Time Hours - 37 Hours per week.

Location - PO19. (Hybrid - At least One day present a week in Chichester ideally a Monday )

Rate of Pay - 319 - 400 per day - Negotiable depending on experience.

Main Duties:

  • As Senior Procurement Systems Analyst, you will act as the primary contact in relation to all procurement systems that the organisation use.
  • You will work as part of the wider procurement team and will take a lead project role in the planning, development, and administration of procurement IT systems, together with collecting, managing and maintaining a consistent and accurate set of data within the system solution(s) which can be used to make reliable and informative procurement conclusions by the business.
  • You will lead, support, develop and implement system strategies that optimise performance for the business in terms of cost, quality, delivery, governance, and responsiveness.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all systems operate to agreed service levels, and you will be the primary interface for strategic system developments and configuration, system interfaces with other external technology platforms, for example ERP system, system usage, and system diagnostics, developing better ways to leverage technology processes for procurements, and leading stakeholders in best practices.

Experience/Knowledge Needed:

  • Local Authority / Public Sector.
  • Smartcore - Oracle Fusion ERP system implementation.
  • Tender Management and Contract Management modules.
