We're seeking a talented Tax Candidate to join our clients team and contribute to their exceptional client service. This senior role offers a rewarding opportunity to work on a wide range of tax matters, from personal and trust returns to complex estate planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file trust, estate, and personal tax returns using IRIS software.
- Manage client correspondence with HM Revenue & Customs and third parties.
- Track and meet critical deadlines for trust and estate filings.
- Prepare trust accounts and monitor deadlines for charges and entitlements.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for clients.
- Handle inheritance tax returns for trusts and estates.
- Offer ad hoc tax advice, such as trust distribution planning.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Undertake other tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A professional qualification like STEP, ATT, or CTA (part-qualified)
- At least 2 years of experience in a private client or trust department
- Strong accuracy, prioritization, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and ambitious approach
- Proficiency in IT, with experience in case management and tax software (IRIS preferred)

- Full-time position, though part-time hours may be considered
- Located in the Chichester Office
