A growing Chichester area company are looking to strength the accounts team by recruiting a full time permanent in office Accounts Assistant.
Description
As Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:
路 Data entry
路 Process customer invoicing
路 Process supplier invoicing to ensure accuracy against POs and quotes.
路 Manage bank activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card statements.
路 Compile weekly supplier payment runs
路 Prepare accounts reports
路 Assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
路 Credit control and administration functions across all departments to ensure payments are collected in a timely manner.
Profile
路 Qualification to AAT level 3 required, or currently studying AAT.
路 Experience in a finance role preferable, but not essential. Previous experience of Xero beneficial.
路 Excellent reporting skills, a keen eye for detail. Advanced Excel experience preferable.
路 Able to efficiently use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
