A well-established Firm of Solicitors is seeking to hire an Assistant Accountant for their Accounts Team.
The role involves preparing monthly VAT returns, processing payments, and maintaining financial data according to Solicitor accounting rules.
Candidates with experience in a Firm of Solicitors will have an advantage, and the position requires a full-time commitment with potential for one day of remote work.
The Assistant Accountant will also be responsible for preparing budgets, forecasts, and producing monthly management accounts.
The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

A well established Firm of Solicitors is looking to appoint a Assistant Accountant to join their Accounts Team. You will be responsible for:

preparing monthly VAT returns
preparing, processing and recording receipts and payments
maintaining accounting and finance data in line with Solicitor accounting rules
processing outgoing payments by cheque, BACs and CHAPs to strict deadlines
assisting other members of the Team as required
preparing accurate budgets & forecasts
producing monthly management accounts

Those who have worked within a Firm of Solicitors would be at an advantage. This is full-time position, mainly working within the office, but one day at home maybe considered.
