Our client is a leading manufacturer in in their sector is looking to add an experienced CNC Sliding head Programmer Setter Operator to their team due to huge growth within the business. The ideal candidate will have experince Programming setting and operating either STAR or Citizen sliding head machines, candidates with strong machining/ Fanuc programming backgrounds on other machines will also be considered.
CNC Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC sliding head machines.
- Ensure all components meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any machine or program-related issues efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on CNC machinery.
- Interpret engineering drawings and work with design teams to optimize production processes.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to achieve production targets.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
CNC Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC sliding head machines.
- Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC programming software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with CNC controls such as [specific machine brand/model, if applicable].
- A good understanding of quality control processes and precision engineering.

CNC Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator Salary & Benefits
- £18.00-£20.00 per hour
- Days based role Monday to Friday/ Early finish Friday with some flexibility around hours
