You will join us on a part time, permanent basisand in return, we will offer a competitive salary of pro rata of £23,497 – £25,678 per annum (£14,098.20 - £15,406.80).
The Assessor Trainer in Education and Childcare role:
We are recruiting for an Assessor Trainer in Childcare and Education to join our outstanding and expanding friendly T Level team. We are looking for an individual with a desire to make a difference in this important sector.
As our Assessor Trainer in Education and Childcare, you will support the development of learners’ knowledge, skills and behaviours throughout their programme, applying theoretical and practical learning in practical work environments.
Key Responsibilities of ourAssessor Trainer in Education and Childcare:
- To plan and prepare for and assess on Apprenticeship standards qualification programmes, assisting in their enrolment as required and delivering workshops to support delivery and the achievement of additional qualifications.
- To conduct workbased and classroom observations by industry sector across the Group to ensure consistency.
- To sample training and off the job training plans and tracking and monitoring of learner progress by industry sector, where required across the Group.
- To ensure the Assessor Trainer processes capture progress made against the milestones in the Individual Learning Plan.
Our ideal Assessor Trainer in Education and Childcare should have the below skills and experience:
- Level 2 in literacy and numeracy
- Level 3 (up to Level 6 for higher and degree apprenticeships) subject sector relevant qualification as required
- Level 3 Assessor Award Training Assessment and Quality Assurance (or equivalent)
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training
- In depth knowledge of the relevant vocational area including up to date knowledge of the sector
- Knowledge of End-point assessment and Diploma/NVQ/VRQ programmes and their delivery methods
- Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word
- Experience in tracking, monitoring and reporting candidate progress
- Experience in using a range of assessment techniques and internal verifying of Diploma/NVQ/VRQ programmes
- Relevant and recent vocational experience in the relevant industry sector
