  • Job Description : The team delivers a broad range of evidence led economic initiatives and programmes in response to the needs and opportunities of the West Sussex economy.

    We are looking for a Support Officer to work at the heart of the team supporting with a range of projects and initiatives.

    The Support Officer will play an important role in supporting the delivery of a range of new projects, having the opportunity to help shape the approach.

    The projects supported include delivering the work of the Economic Growth Board (WSEGB), a new business-led partnership to help drive and oversee sustainable economic growth across the county.It will also include supporting the delivery of the Connect to Work programme, which aims to support the economically inactive back into work.This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative team on projects that make a difference in our communities.The role holder will collect, coordinate, and analyse any management information required, as well as plan and assist in the development and staging of a variety of events, including meetings, seminars, briefings etc.They will work within corporate project frameworks. There is a regular and intrinsic requirement to communicate in English with members of the public

This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
