Job Purpose
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing workflow, deadlines, and budgets.
- Planning and undertaking assignments, striving to deliver service excellence.
- Leading a team of accountants, reviewing work, providing constructive mentorship, and motivating those around you.
- Owning responsibility of KPIs, including monthly billing forecasts and ensuring fee recovery rates are met.
- Contributing to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
- Building trusted and long-lasting client relationships, proactively handing queries.
- Reviewing processes and implementing more efficient ways of service delivery.
- Setting an example to junior staff as a hands-on senior manager.

The successful candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified, with demonstrable experience within practice.
- AAT qualification desirable.
- Experience managing a client portfolio, with a results-driven approach.
- Previous experience leading a team, including reviewing work and providing mentorship.
- A sound commercial understanding, including forecasting and monitoring fee recovery.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- Organised and able to oversee a team’s workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
- Confident working closely with senior management.
