Our clients, based close to Chichester have an exciting opportunity for aMulti-Skilled Engineer to join their busy, production and engineering department.
Key Responsibilities
- General mechanical/electrical engineering and routine maintenance tasks
- Attend to and rectify factory machinery breakdowns, utilising best practice for both health & safety and hygiene
- Fault diagnosis and route cause analysis
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime and availability
- Follow and improve upon, month on month PPM schedules
- Be involved in both electrical and mechanical reactive and pro-active maintenance
- Maintain accurate records for all activity and spares used/requested
- Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Capable of quickly identifying and efficiently resolving mechanical and/or electrical faults
- Experience with planned and preventative maintenance
