Our client are a leading Builders Merchant providing building supplies to a mixture of commercial and residential customers including contractors, house builders, housing associations and end users.
Due to an internal move there is an opportunity for a Trade Counter and Internal Telephone Sales person to join this busy and successful branch. The responsibilities will include serving customers face to face over their trade counter, offering exceptional customer service, advising of products, and processing sales. In addition, you will be handling sales over the telephone, providing quotations, answering queries, and obtaining new business.
As this is a trade sales position, previous experience selling some form of building materials is required. It will be possible to learn the products if you have not sold them, but experience selling to the target customer base is essential.
This is Monday-Friday and alternative Saturday mornings and the contract is a 44.5 hour working week.
