You will join us on a part time, permanent basisand in return, we will offer a competitive salary pro rata of £26,451 - £41,247 (i.e. £15,870.60 - £24,748.20) per annum.

As a Lecturer in Business, Accounting and Finance you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our engaged students. Your expertise and enthusiasm will ignite their passion for the Business, Accounting and Finance sector, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in these industries.

Key Responsibilities of ourLecturer in Business, Accounting and Finance:

• Undertaking teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
• Ensuring that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
• Undertaking administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.
• Taking an active role in the achievement of high individual student retention and success rates, meeting or surpassing the relevant targets for each.
• Developing curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration literacy and numeracy development, and equality and diversity.
• Understanding personal responsibilities in relation to Safeguarding.
• Keeping up-to-date with current issues, changes, and policies relating to the educational sector.
• Participating in marketing activities and promote the College for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.
• Undertaking the delivery of literacy and numeracy.

Our ideal Lecturer in Business, Accounting and Finance should have the below skills and experience:

• Degree or Professional qualification in a Business related subject e.g. AAT/ACCA
• Knowledge of Edexcel / T level or AAT Specifications
• Experience in commercial experience in Business, Finance or accounting
• Experience teaching and assessing Business, Finance or accounting learners
• The ability to work alone and as part of a team with interpersonal skills
