SEND School Support Staff (Primary and Secondary Aged Children) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join a dynamic SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school, working with Primary and secondary-aged children who have a variety of complex needs and can present challenging behaviours. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidate, offering an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in young lives. Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEND needs.
  • Assist in managing challenging behaviour in line with school policies and strategies.
  • Develop trusting relationships with students, helping them to engage in their learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create tailored learning plans.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, addressing any safeguarding concerns in line with school policies.

  • Experience working with children who have SEND needs or in a similar role (e.g. behavioural support).
