Salary: 84 per day
Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEND needs.
- Assist in managing challenging behaviour in line with school policies and strategies.
- Develop trusting relationships with students, helping them to engage in their learning and achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create tailored learning plans.
- Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, addressing any safeguarding concerns in line with school policies.
- Experience working with children who have SEND needs or in a similar role (e.g. behavioural support).
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people who can display challenging behaviours.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
- A flexible and proactive attitude, with the willingness to adapt to changing situations.
