Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Live-In Carer to provide support for a lovely lady living with progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and experienced in providing care for individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing).
  • Support mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Administer medication and manage health care routines as prescribed.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Engage in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction.
  • Monitor and document changes in health and behaviour reporting to healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in live-in care or caregiving, especially for individuals with MS or similar conditions.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ in Health and Social Care, first aid training) are preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
